Cold Wet Feet Oh, wait up, where have you been? I've been waiting on the couch since a quarter past ten. Oh, tell me where did you go? I've been calling your phone, it's a half past four. So tonight, I'll go to bed alone. I'll stare at the ceiling, I'll check my cell phone. But there'll be no call from you or any other. Instead I get text messages from my mother. Oh, tell me when you ceased to believe. Did it seep like water into socks on your cold wet feet? Oh, and tell me now can your eyes really see, just how you're losing me? So this morning, I woke up alone. I stared at the ceiling, I checked my cell phone. But there was no call from you or any other. Instead I sent a text message to my mother. All my friends say "g, baby, don't you fear it. Honey, find yourself a rebound lover, drink your weight in spirits." But whiskey and men won't make you're smile fade. It's not an even trade. So today, I went down to the beach alone. I threw my tears into the ocean, I couldn't check my cell phone. Down on Dallas, Baby, I'm out of range. To be without you feels so strange. Maybe I should just throw myself into my music. Spin this pain into gold, Honey, don't think I won't use it. And every love song I sang to you from my heart now has a darker counterpart. So, now I'll go out on the road alone. I'll sing my songs into the darkness, I won't check my cell phone.

Road Maps 04:43
Road Maps: Once again, here we are. Slow fingers tracing each others scars. It makes a map across our hands. Close your eyes, memorize directions. Connect the lines, Our paths will meet in time, And don't forget the road, we traveled on alone. You toss and you turn in your bed. Phantom piano notes in your head. Could you write them down? Build a melody? Writing down the words shared between you and me. Could you make it all make sense. By connecting the lines our song is written in time and I won't forget the way we traveled in to get to where we are today. And all those years we were alone, only made us strong enough to know, that everything is as it should. So now here we are. And you running your hands along my scars... Connect the lines Our paths will meet in time. And I won't forget the road I traveled on alone.

Two Pieces 03:57
Two Broken Pieces Sittin in the grass pullin out handfuls of green His eyes were red and distant and I knew everything The words were long overdue, so hard to hear and say. We broke apart what we had left on the sunny summer day. Boy, I know it's hard to give your all, receive nothing in return The one you thought held close your heart Is the girl to watch it burn. But it's her who lost everything, and you who won this time. Right now you need a hand to hold. It might as well be mine. Cause, if you take two broken pieces and some glue. Boy, if you kiss away my pain, I'll do the same for you. We'll lay our hearts on a rocky beach and offer up our hands. Our tears will rival ocean water but we will love again. A life of love, a life of songs is all I have to give. The steps I take are forward, continuing to live. You're hands prepare the dishes on which one lucky heart will dine, sustaining love and laughter will only come in time. But for now, my friend, let's lay here, commiserate the day. A lucky soul to swim with in the fish bowl of pain. There's sharks outside that glass, so let's stay in here in sleep. Until we're strong to carry on, our hearts we"'ll safely keep.
